| { misk.1 } Biografy SANDRO TCHIKOVANI (MISK 1): This young San Francisco native developed a passion for art at a very young age. He has evolved his artistic expression into a unique and dynamic form of Graffiti Art. His work is reflective of influences from a wide variety of artists and architects ranging from Dali to Frank Llyod Wright. He was taught essential Graffiti techniques by such influential artists as Skew, Crayone, and Neon. But perhaps his greatest influence comes from his Father, an artist and architect himself, as well as his mother who encouraged his travels to broaden his perspective and freedom of self-expression. Sandro's cultural background is a blend of French, Russian, and Georgian. His travels over the years have taken him on many journeys through, Tokyo, New York and Miami and have greatly contributed to the evolution of his dynamic style. This artist's art is a vehicle to capture time in abstract forms, dimensions, vibrant colors and lines. His artistic creations represent a progression of time and collection of life experiences. More recently, Sandro has evolved his work to include computer design and developed a signature style he calls Surreal Typography. He has also diversified into the field of design by developing work for such companies as Airwalk, Levi's, Nike/Foot Locker, Bill Graham Presents, Foote, Cone & Belding, Ogilvy and Mather and a series of other clients. His work has been exhibited locally at Levi's Vortex Gallery, Moma youth project, and Recon Gallery, as well as, internationally in Tokyo, Sapporo, Germany, and Belgium. |
